The Pilot 4 is the EU Funds Application Process Made Easy
This is the Pilot 4 – FAME FreCo Assistance Legal Contingency:
The advent of Next Generation EU (NGEU) funds has resulted in an increase in public grants and therefore a unique opportunity for self-employed, SMEs and companies to finance the twin (digital, green) transformation their businesses. Nevertheless, identifying and processing these grants is no mean feat and, on many occasions, put the brakes on investment.
This is the Pilot 4 – FAME FReCo Assistance Guidance:
1) Type of Data: This pilot includes company information and project details, such as received funding, project timelines, milestones, and pre-financing options.
2) Data Subjects/Owner of the data: The data pertains to companies, as well as the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI).
3) Purpose: It seems to support banking and business development.
4) Legal Obligations: Obligations depend on the nature of the aid. If public aid is involved, the Open Data Directive applies to ensure transparency in public sector information, and EU Public Procurement Rules (Directive 2014/24) will ensure fair competition without granting unfair advantages. Competition rules may also apply to data-sharing practices on the platform. For other types of aid, Directive 2016/943 may be relevant, particularly if the data includes confidential business information.
5) This analysis has been conducted based on the work completed in D6.4, and the FAME FReCo Assistance Tool has been used for each pilot.
